2Face Idibia Shocks Many as He Announces Divorce from Annie Macaulay

Legendary Nigerian Singer and Songwriter 2Face Idibia has announced that he and his wife Annie Macaulay Idibia have been separated for a while now.

In a statement issued through his social media, the Young, Famous, and African star said that they have filed for divorce currently.

“I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. And we have currently filed for divorce,” 2Face said.

He went on to state that he would later issue a detailed press release that would explain what transpired in their marriage as he tells his side of the story.  

“I would grant a press release soon to say my story.. not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all,” 2Face added in his statement.

However, shortly after another statement went out alleging that his Instagram account had been hacked.

“My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control #Onelove,” another statement from 2face went out.

Nevertheless, 2Face recorded a video, stating that Nobody had hacked his account and he meant what he said.

“Nobody hacked my account, I meant what I said. I come in peace,” 2Face sought to clarify.

2Face Idibia and Annie have been in a rocky marriage for a while now with infidelity allegations being labeled against 2Face.

So far, Annie Idibia is yet to address reports of divorcing her husband 2Face Idibia.

In the third season of Young, Famous and African, Annie has been on the receiving end with many accusing her of tolerating a cheating partner.
