Actress Marya Okoth announces breakup with hubby YY comedian

Kenyan content creator and actress Marya Okoth has announced that she is no longer in a romantic relationship with her baby daddy and comedian Oliver Otieno aka YY Comedian.

In a statement shared via her socials, Marya said that they have opted to end their relationship.

She went to ask for privacy as she dealt with the unfortunate news. The couple have one child together.

“Hello and Good Morning. We are saddened to let you know that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances.

“Thank you for your love and support through our union. We expect individual privacy from each one of you. Thanks. Regards,” Marya shared the statement.

Previously Marya shared that she moved in with YY after their first date.

“I was tricked immediately after the date,” started off the mother of one. She went on to add, “It was sort of an hour after we first met… We spent about an hour together, and then I went to his place. And, the baby came along gradually,”

They have a daughter together named Circe Gaona.
