Amber Ray Leaks Private Chats with Obinna as their Fallout Gets Ugly

Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has leaked private chats with comedian and TV Host Oga Obinna, implying that he tried to hook her up with an influential person in the person.

The leakage of the chats comes at their fallout had taken a new twist after Obinna tried to explain the genesis of their fallout.

According to to Amber Ray, regrets not setting a strong boundary between her and Obinna when their friendship started.

In the chats, Obinna tried to hook up with an influential government official – something Ms Ray declined.

In a separate Post Amber had also explained what transpired between her and Obinna on the said date.  

“I’ve never hidden the fact that I enjoy my drink. My followers know that’s part of who I am, and I’ve embraced it fully…but I’ve never let it interfere with my responsibilities. If it did,

“We’d all have seen endless videos of me being drunk and disorderly. But those don’t exist… because I know my limits, I know my work, and I respect my brand,” Amber Ray said in part.

She went on to admit that she was late to the said video shoot and apologized. However, she accused pushing a false Narrative about her whereabouts on the day of the shoot.   

“Now, about the shoot. I was late, and I sincerely apologize for that. It took longer to get there than I expected, and I kept you informed. But the narrative you’re pushing…that I was just somewhere drinking, carelessly… is unfair and false. Let’s not act like the Amber you wanted in that video isn’t the same Amber who holds a glass of wine and commands the room at a club. That’s the brand. And that brand has opened doors-not just for me, but for others too. It’s part of why my brother is now rising as one of the best DJs around,” Amber said.

These chats between me and Obina speak volumes. They expose a mindset where a man can try to pimp you out in one breath, then tell you how good you look together in the next. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s not just confusing…it’s deeply disrespectful.

It shows how some men truly look down on women, especially women who are confident, expressive, and unafraid to own their space. When a woman sets a boundary, she’s called difficult. When she says “no,” it becomes a personal attack. And when she succeeds, suddenly they want a piece of what they never helped build.

But let me be honest…I partly blame myself.
I didn’t set strong enough boundaries from the beginning. I gave too much grace in the name of being “cool,” “understanding,” or “one of the boys.” Like I’ve always said…I’m your regular type of girl. But that ‘regular’ energy gets misinterpreted when you don’t correct people early.

I’ve learned this the hard way…and maybe a little late. But one thing I promise: my daughter will learn it early.
She’ll know that kindness is not weakness. That boundaries are a form of self-respect. And that she never has to shrink herself to make anyone feel comfortable.
