Kenya’s party scene is leveling up, and Eldoret just proved it’s ready to host the big leagues.
On September 6th, all eyes were on Baniyas Square as Bien-Aime Baraza officially kicked off the East African leg of his “Alusa Continua World Tour” – and it was nothing short of historic.
By 8:00 pm, the venue was jam-packed, shoulder-to-shoulder with diehard fans who had snapped up every single ticket.
With over 3,000 revelers in attendance, Baniyas Square was literally bursting at the seams, turning Eldoret into the ultimate party capital for one unforgettable night.

“Over 3,000 fans strong in Eldoret! Thank you @bienaimesol for bringing the Alusa Continua Tour to Baniyas Square. The city will never forget this night,” Baniyas hyped in a statement.
A Night of Pure Energy
From the moment Bien hit the stage, it was pure electricity. Backed by his powerhouse live band—Amani Baya (drums), Yvan Kwizera (bass), Benjamin Kabaseke (lead guitar), and Pascal (piano)—Bien delivered a two-hour nonstop set that had fans screaming, dancing, and singing word-for-word.
He ran through his arsenal of hits, dropping crowd favorites like Lifestyle, Ma Cherie, Sura Yako, Mbwe Mbwe, Extra Pressure, Suzanna, and Chikwere, proving exactly why he’s one of East Africa’s biggest stars.

And it wasn’t just Bien lighting up the stage, Mega Hype Man Gudah, Ricko, Metro, and Bboy turned up as curtain-raisers, before DJ Moh Spice and Kym Nickdee kept the party raging into the night with fire mixes.
Why Eldoret?
Speaking to Mpasho, Bien revealed why he chose Eldoret for his big tour kickoff:
“These are some of the places that have shown me love since I started my music career back in the day. Whenever I play in Eldoret, fans show me a lot of love, and that’s why I came with a full band, just to give them an experience they will never forget.”

He also confirmed more stops are coming: “Between now and December, the plan is to go to every East African country after we are done with Meru and Nairobi. I will also be going to Zambia and Malawi.”
And while his UK and US tours were already a massive sell-out, Bien says this one hits different.
“I just want to make my fans happy. When they are happy, it means we have achieved our goal. This tour is also important to me as it gives me a chance to introduce Bien to East Africa properly. I have always gone to them as Sauti Sol, but now I’m going as Bien, and it’s important.”

Baniyas at 2
Bien’s show was the crown jewel of Baniyas Square’s 2nd Anniversary Festival, a four-day celebration that saw performances from Femi One, Mejja, DJ Grauchi, Bien, and later Jose Chameleone, who closed out the weekend with a legendary Sunday show.
“Thank You, Eldoret. Our 2nd Anniversary was nothing short of historic — four unforgettable days filled with music, food, and vibes. From Bien’s powerful live concert on Saturday to Jose Chameleone’s legendary show on Sunday, you made it a celebration to remember,” Baniyas said.
And the party isn’t stopping anytime soon. The club teased yet another mega event on October 5th, promising fans more world-class vibes.
