The 2025 Bobea Leadership Awards are officially underway, shining a spotlight on the outstanding individuals who continue to shape and inspire our communities through exemplary leadership.

This year’s nomination phase, which concluded on June 5th, saw a vibrant show of public engagement, with citizens from across the country nominating leaders who have made significant and lasting impacts in their respective fields.

The overwhelming participation reflects a growing recognition of leadership excellence and the importance of celebrating those who lead with integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to service.

After an intensive review process led by a team of 20 seasoned professionals, the Bobea Awards secretariat has shortlisted the top 10 finalists in each category. These individuals stood out for their visionary thinking, tangible achievements, and the trust they’ve built within their communities.

While reaching the finalist stage is in itself a remarkable achievement, the next step puts the power back in the hands of the people — as public voting kicks off to determine the overall winners.

The journey will culminate in a grand celebration at the Bobea Leadership Awards Gala Dinner, set to take place on July 18th at the prestigious Movenpick Hotel in Westlands.

The evening will not only recognize the ultimate winners but also serve as a tribute to the collective spirit of leadership and progress that these awards represent.

With anticipation building, the stage is set for a night of inspiration, recognition, and celebration of Kenya’s most transformative leaders.
