Citizen TV actress Brenda Michelle popularly known as Alma on Zora has confirmed that her marriage to Jacob Otieno aka Jacky B ended sometime back.

In a statement issued via her socials, Michelle asked for privacy while stating that this was the right time to let the world know about her marital status.

The actress was married to music producer Jacky B for over 9 years and together they had two children.

“To My Online Community,

I have and continue to receive many questions regarding my private life, including my marriage.

My marriage has been over for some time now, and while it has taken a while to publicly acknowledge this, I believe now is the right moment to do so,” Brenda Michelle said in part.

“This is a deeply personal journey, and I kindly ask for your continued respect and privacy as I move forward. Thank you for walking with me, for your love, and for your support. With love, Brenda Michelle,”.

Lost a Child in 2024

In January 2024, the couple announced that they had lost their unborn child.

“My wife has had a very rough 2 months, she was sick from December to the last week of January. We lost our unborn baby in January.

 I decided to surprise her with a new phone just to make her smile kidogo😊. She deserves this and more.@miss_brenda_michelle,” Jacky B said at the time.

In a previous interview, Jacky B shared that apologizing when in the wrong was one of the aspects that had kept their marriage together for long.

“Every marriage has ups and downs but we try as much as possible to understand each other over the years. We have learned to apologize whenever one of us is wrong.

We also take time to talk about the things we don’t like about each other. We go on dates and do lots of fun things together. Above all, we pray a lot for our union,” Jacky B said.
