Miss Denmark Victoria Kjær Theilvig is the winner of the 2024 Miss Universe competition that went down in Mexico City Arena.
Kjær Theilvig is the first Danish contestant to win the prestigious crown.
The 21-year-old portrays herself as an animal welfare champion, entrepreneur, and former professional dancer.
The morning after her win, she uploaded photos of herself in a hotel bathrobe with her crown and ribbon.
“First sunrise as Miss Universe. Waking up with gratitude, dreams, and a crown − ready to embrace this incredible journey,” Kjaer wrote.

The Official Miss Universe page shared; “A new era begins! Congratulations to Denmark, our 73rd Miss Universe. May your reign inspire and empower women worldwide,”.

Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina was named as the first-runner up. Miss Mexico Maria Fernanda Beltran, Miss Thailand Opal Suchata, and Miss Venezuela Ileana Marquez Pedroza rounded out the top five respectively.

Miss Universe Kenya joined the world ion congratulating Victoria Kjær Theilvig on her win.

The 73rd Miss Universe competition took place in Mexico City, marking the country’s first hosting of the event in 17 years.
