Glam Hotel has officially unveiled its newest gem — a luxurious rooftop restaurant and bar perched on the 10th floor of its property in Westlands, Nairobi.
The addition marks a significant milestone in the city’s ever-evolving hospitality scene, promising guests an unmatched blend of fine dining, elegant ambiance, and panoramic skyline views.
Located along General Mathenge Road, the rooftop was launched on Friday night in a dazzling celebration that drew Nairobi’s vibrant crowd of business leaders, influencers, media personalities, and lifestyle enthusiasts.

The grand opening was headlined by Amina Abdi Rabar, who emceed the night with her signature charm and energy. The guest list sparkled with notable names such as Dorea Chege, DJ Dibul, The Rui Family, Carrol Sonie, Model DC Washingtone, Nimo Gachuri, Diana Chacha, and MC Price, among others — all dressed to impress and eager to experience the city’s newest hangout in the sky.
The evening came alive with live music, captivating DJ sets, and rhythmic drumming and dance performances, perfectly setting the tone for the rooftop’s vibrant identity.
Guests indulged in a curated selection of continental dishes and signature cocktails, all while soaking in breathtaking 360-degree views of Nairobi’s glittering skyline.

“This rooftop is more than a venue — it’s an experience,” said Ashish Sharma, CEO of Thrive Hospitality, the group that owns Glam Hotel. “We wanted a space that reflects Nairobi’s character — vibrant, diverse, and full of life.”
Adding to this, Sanjay Shah, one of the hotel’s directors, emphasized that the vision behind the rooftop was to “create a space that blends good food with Nairobi’s social energy — where every evening feels like a celebration.”
The new rooftop bar and restaurant, with a capacity of up to 200 guests, is expected to host sundowners, private events, and casual dining experiences, cementing Glam Hotel’s reputation as a lifestyle hub in Westlands.
