Kenya’s Afrohouse sensation Idd Aziz has proudly flown the country’s flag high on the global stage after delivering an electrifying performance at the world-renowned Burning Man Festival in Nevada, USA.

Famed for his powerful ability to fuse traditional African sounds with modern Afrohouse beats, Aziz described his debut at the week-long festival as nothing short of magical.

“Grateful for a magical week at Burning Man, where I not only shared my music but also marked history as the first Kenyan to grace this incredible global stage. Words cannot describe the feeling and the experience I’ve had at this great happening in the world,” Aziz reflected.
“Thank you to Ramez, Tyla, and all the new friends and family I met at the Playa saga. We did it and we’re going to do it again.”

Sharing the lineup with none other than Black Coffee, the Grammy Award-winning South African DJ and producer, Aziz cemented his growing stature among the global Afrohouse elite.

His journey to Burning Man comes at a time when African music is enjoying unprecedented influence on international stages.

Earlier this year, he lit up Coachella 2025, one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world. Beyond that, Aziz was recently crowned the most streamed Kenyan artist internationally on the 2025 Global Impact List—an accolade that affirms his rising dominance in the global music scene.

These milestones not only highlight his expanding footprint but also reflect the soaring demand for Afrohouse music worldwide.

His presence at Burning Man marks a significant cultural moment, further underscoring Kenya’s growing impact on the global electronic and Afrohouse movement.
