Businessman and public figure Kennedy Rapudo has come forward to address swirling rumors that he allegedly took another woman out on a dinner date — claims that emerged amid speculation about tension in his marriage with socialite Amber Ray.

In a strongly worded statement posted on his social media, Rapudo dismissed the allegations as “fabricated lies,” clarifying that the incident being referenced was entirely innocent and misrepresented.

“I’ve stayed off social media. Not because I’m blind to what’s being said, but because I’ve chosen peace over pettiness,” Rapudo wrote. “But sometimes silence just gives liars space to get comfortable.”

Rapudo recounted that he was at a petrol station on the day in question, where he had stopped to check his car’s tire pressure. During that moment, he said, a group of individuals approached him for assistance with parking, and out of sheer courtesy, he obliged.

“One of them tried to take a selfie — I politely declined and even made it clear I wasn’t interested. No flirting, no exchange, nothing beyond helping,” he said.

He expressed his frustration with the false narrative that quickly spread online, claiming he had taken one of the women to dinner. Rapudo categorically denied this, calling it a complete misrepresentation of what actually happened.

“Now I’m hearing stories that I took someone to dinner? This is exactly why people withdraw. I’ve tried to be kind, respectful, and calm, but when kindness is twisted into a narrative I never wrote — I shut the door,” he added.

The father and businessman stated that this will be the last time he defends himself over such matters, saying he will now guard his peace more fiercely.

“If helping people is now a gateway for lies, I’ll keep my energy to myself. From here on, I move differently.”
