“I’m Ready”: Harmonize to Run for Parliament in Honour of Late Magufuli

Tanzanian singer and songwriter Rajab Abdul Kahali aka Harmonize has declared intention to vie for the Tandahimba Member of Parliament seat in the upcoming Tanzanian General Election.

In a post shared via his Instagram, Harmonize mentioned that he will be going for the Tandahimba Constituency seat.

The star went on to share a past clip of the Late President John Pombe Magufuli who had endorsed him for the seat.

Back in 2019, Magufuli while vying for his second Term mentioned that he would like to see Harmonize elected as a Member of Parliament through his then political party CCM (Chama Cha Mapinduzi).

“Now I’m ready Tandahimba MP kwa masilahi mapana ya Tandahimba RIP. DR John Pombe Magufuli rais wa awamu ya tano,” Harmonize shared.

“Hakika moyo wako utakuwa na faraja sana….!! Rais Samia_Suluhu Hassan ametekeleza mipango na miradi yenu yooooote na mingine mingi ndani ya muda mchache kama taifa tumekubaliana october tuna ✔ chama changu cha mapinduzi @ccmtanzania kikinipa ridhaaa nipo tayali kuikamirisha hii ndoto yako,” Harmonize added.

In 2019, while still in office, Magufuli, endorsed Harmonize stating he is a very hard working person and wishes to see him represent his people in Parliament.

“Lakini nampongeza sana Harmonize sijui anatoka Jimbo gani, anatoka Jimbo gani huyu? Tandaimba? Mbuge wa kule ni nani? Ningetamani kweli Harmonize aende akagombee kule akawe mbunge wa Tandaimba. Kijana anabidii nzuri sana. Ndugu zangu asanteni sana mungu awabariki,” said President Magufuli.

The Never give up hit-maker was among musicians who had been invited to entertain the President during a public function that had been assembled to celebrate 20 years since the death of their founding President Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.

Konde Boy performed his remixed Kwangwaru song under the tag Magufuli that praises the Head of State, documenting all the projects (achievements) he has worked on since being elected.
