Businessman Khalif Kairo is appealing for financial help as his woes deepen following a recent re-arrest at Milimani Law Courts.
Kairo was arrested again on Tuesday while at Milimani Law Courts for the mention of his two cases.
He was at Milimani with his mother and Lawyer when police bounced on him and took him to Parklands Police Station.
Following the re-arrest for another case, Kairo is now appealing to well-wishers to help him settle his debts as he chats the way forward for his company.
“Jana, after attending a hearing at Milimani law courts, I was re-arrested and held in Parklands police station overnight on another matter.
“We have tried everything in our ability to resolve this issue amicably, and ensure we do deliveries but the negative media publicity and constant police involvement is putting us in deeper waters and severely affecting our ability to operate. All our offices are currently closed,” Kairo said in part.

He added; “I am currently in Milimani law courts and will be presented for plea taking shortly.
“I have had an impressive ten-year run in business with zero criminal cases pertaining to cars and thousands of people have successfully bought cars from me,”.
He also alleged that his funder campaign was also shut down making it difficult to rescue himself.
“Due to these legal issues, our funder campaign was shut down last night after crossing the USD 100,000 mark.
“All is not lost however, I am directly appealing to my supporters, friends, old clients, and associates to chip in whatever amount they can and give us a fighting chance against the unknown forces that are sabotaging my company,” Kairo said.
“Proceeds can be sent to the @kai_and_karo account below. This is not an investment but a donation. Once the dust settles, we will issue a statement and audit trail of how we will utilize the funds raised in rescuing our company,”.

The businessman has vowed to put on a spirited fight despite all the frustrations he has been facing.
“Giving up means falling victim to the forces that want me to shut down the company and in the process, my clients end up losing money. Fighting means, overcoming these storms, sorting each one of them out, and emerging stronger. I will not let any of my clients down,” Kairo said.
“No journey to the top is 100% perfect and without setbacks. Even in the midst of these massive storms, I still trust in GOD, and giving up has never been an option. Today we suffer, kesho we win and the cycle goes on. Lakini giving up or depression should never be an option. Fight!,”.
He thanked his followers and all the well-wishers supporting him.
“Wanna thank everyone for the support, some of these battles are beyond me, and it’s tragic that sometimes this is the price you pay for “trying” to make it big as a young person. I don’t take it for granted and I know that we will recover and do great things. May God bless you,” Kairo added.
