Michael Olunga Exits Al-Duhail SC After Remarkable Four-years

Kenyan international Michael Olunga has officially parted ways with Qatar giants Al-Duhail SC, drawing the curtain on a memorable four-year spell at the club.

Olunga joined Al-Duhail in January 2021 from Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol and quickly became a vital component of the team’s attacking force.

During his time in Qatar, the prolific forward made an indelible mark, clinching the Qatar Stars League Golden Boot in both the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

Despite a spirited campaign, Al-Duhail narrowly missed out on the league title, finishing just two points behind arch-rivals Al Sadd.
