The immersive viewing experience, set in the lush and vibrant ambiance of Midori Garden, marked the beginning of a new tradition at Radisson Blu Arboretum — one that blends hospitality and the thrill of motorsport.

“It was important for us to create a space where our guests and F1 fans could come together to share in the adrenaline and excitement of the races,” said Mozart Gitari, Marketing, PR & Communications Manager.

“Launching this experience at Midori Garden is just the beginning — we are excited to grow a passionate F1 community right here in Nairobi. The energy from the Bahrain Grand Prix was electric, and we’re just getting started.”

The next watch party will take place on Saturday, 20th April 2025, featuring the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Guests can expect elevated viewing, themed cocktails, curated menus, and special appearances — all in an atmosphere that celebrates the world of F1.

Whether you’re a lifelong racing fan or a newcomer to the sport, Radisson Blu Arboretum welcomes you to #RaceAtRadisson — a premier F1 experience unlike any other in the city.

The Bahrain Grand Prix

Oscar Piastri dominated the Bahrain Grand Prix to become the first driver to claim the second victory of the season; Mercedes’ George Russell held off Lando Norris to deny McLaren a one-two; Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were fourth and fifth, respectively, for Ferrari

McLaren’s Piastri led from lights to flag to finish 15 seconds clear of Mercedes’ Russell, despite having had a seven-second lead erased midway through a frenetic race by a Safety Car period.

Norris, whose advantage over his teammate Piastri at the top of the world championship was reduced to three points, passed Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the closing stages to claim a podium after a hugely eventful evening from sixth on the grid.
