Singer Ben Cyco and wife Wanjiru welcome their 1st child together [Photos]

Kenyan Gospel singer Ben Cyco and his wife Wanjiru Njiru have welcomed their first child together.

The couple shared the good news via their socials after Wanjiru’s safe delivery.

An excited Ben Cyco put up a post that made his feelings about becoming a dad known to the world.

Cyco mentioned that he is super excited about becoming a dad – thanking God for expanding his family with a new member.

“I really have no words to express my gratitude. All I can say is may the God who answered my prayers answer you as well in whatever you are trusting him for.

“Thank you Dr Chris Obwaka and the whole team for walking this journey with us,” Ben Cyco said.

On the other hand, Wanjiru also shared photos from her Maternity ward – stating that she is happy to be a mother.

“Life has changed forever! So blessed,” Wanjiru shared.

The news of Ben and Wanjiru welcoming a new member into their family has received lots of positive vibrations from their fans and fellow celebrities.

Losing their Unborn Baby

In December 2023, Ben Cyco and his wife Wanjiru Njiru disclosed that they lost their child.
In a poignant video posted on YouTube, the couple described the loss as one of their lowest moments.
According to Ben, they lost the kid after 8 weeks (2 months), and things have not been easy since then.

“We got a baby and we were so excited about it but after 2 months we lost the baby. That was a huge dent in our marriage but God’s grace is sufficient…but that has been a tough season.

“That happened like two months ago…we tried but I guess it just did not turn out the way we wanted it to be and we lost the baby at 8 weeks,” Ben shared.

“That was so heavy on us and we had no energy left in us to do like a live experience. So this season has been so heavy, especially for you (Wanjiru) and I have just been praying for grace and trying to support you in the best way possible. You really shocked me with how strong you are,” Ben Cyco added.

Wanjiru Njiru added: “You have also shocked me; I knew you loved me but this passing season I have seen like you really, really love me,”.
