Trevor Noah, a South African media personality and Comedian has been chosen to host the Grammy Awards again.

This will be Noah’s fifth year hosting the highly renowned music awards show.

Noah, best known for his breakout success as the former host of Comedy Central’s late-night show “The Daily Show,” has received numerous awards, including two Emmys.

He has hosted the Grammys every year since his first turn leading the show in 2021.

The 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will go ahead as planned despite the devastating wildfires that, in recent weeks, ravaged huge parts of LA.

Shakira, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter are all set to perform at the event.

Other nominees including Benson Boone, RAYE, and Teddy Swims will perform as well

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said: “The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honouring the best in music this year.

They will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need. We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”
