Legendary Ugandan singer and Songwriter Jose Chameleone has been hospitalized.

An official statement from his management details that Jose is receiving the best medical care and attention, and they are optimistic about his recovery.

The official confirmation comes hours after clips went viral showing Chameleone being taken to hospital while in critical condition.

The statement went on to request for privacy amid Jose’s hospitalization.
